Hi, I’m Amanda!

I’m a licensed mental health counselor, certified in nutrition coaching, alternative medicine, trauma healing, and fitness training.

My personal and professional experiences have shown me how healing food, lifestyle and self-compassion can be.  I guide women toward integrating all aspects of their lives for optimal physical and mental health.

This 6 month program is a hybrid of therapy-infused group coaching, and teaching you the skills you need to burst through limitations and access your full potential.

So, what is therapy-infused group coaching? 

Traditionally, life coaching is guidance for your future and specific goals, while therapy is past-oriented for mental and emotional healing.  

I believe all of you matters, and while sometimes an all-in focus on one or the other is appropriate, my vision is for you to integrate all aspects of your life so that you can move forward with self-doubt and defeat while living in harmony now.  Unfortunately, most of us were not taught HOW to be a human.  That’s where therapy-infused coaching comes in. 

This program is designed to provide you with the foundational aspects required for healthy and aligned living as a human being, while also giving you the space to explore yourself, redesign limiting patterns, and learn to implement in a way that works for you.  

Most of of us are making life choices in the areas of nutrition, fitness, relationship, family and career without a firm foundation in the basics of being human.  That’s why we find ourselves dissatisfied, self sabotaging, confused and unhappy with many of our outcomes.

We’ve all been told WHAT to do our whole lives without having the knowledge for HOW to think, how our mind and body connect and impact one another, and how to work with our bodies instead of against them.  This is why we feel disconnected- from ourselves and others.

Therapy-infused group coaching offers the opportunity to reset, reconnect with self and redefine life on our terms by ensuring the fundamentals are embraced and customized to our unique needs and desires.

Q&A

  • Because I am a therapist by education, I weave a therapeutic understanding, skills, concepts and psychoeducation into everything I teach, supporting you in gaining a true understanding of YOURSELF as you learn about your thoughts, how your brain works, how food works in your body, and how your mind-body connection is a very real part of who you are. Some of the coaching will be in weekly teaching videos and modules. The group coaching calls will provide opportunities for you to participate in exercises or share personally, according to your comfort level! I will create a safe space for you to explore yourself without judgment, comparison or expectation. As long as you’re not experiencing a clinical level of distress, this program will package therapy, nutrition and fitness, mindset and lifestyle work together! I will always refer to a more individualized level of care if that is appropriate for your circumstances.

  • The group coaching calls will alternate between daytime and evening time to accommodate as many preferences as possible. On our group kick off call (Friday March 1, 6p.m. EST) I’ll gather a group vote for the best days/times and go with the majority!

  • Don’t worry- they will be loaded into your password protected portal to access and review at your convenience.

  • The calls will follow a loose structure depending on the topics covered… sometimes there will be some in-person teaching followed by Q&A, sometimes they will provide in-person opportunities to walk through the exercises I recommend with me supporting and guiding you toward clarity and effective implementation of what you’re learning. You will, as comfortable, share with one another, learn from each other, inspire and support each other in a safe space.

  • Don’t fret. I’m going to support you in carving out space to honor this commitment to yourself. I’m also going to cover boundaries in the coursework so we can all clarify the overwhelm in our inboxes ;-)... But, you will also maintain access to the program through the end of the year 2024, and have the opportunity to download any content you want to keep for future reference!

  • Exactly what it sounds like…while communicating with the group as a whole will benefit you and the other members, I totally understand needing to ask for personal support along the way. You can email or use the Voxer walkie talkie app to troubleshoot, share victories, or find a way to customize what you’re learning. I’ll honor a 24 hour commitment for intentional and mindful responses! This is a service I usually only offer to my private 1:1 coaching clients but totally reflects the goals of this program.
