Burger Night
You can do this with any type of ground meat, however, I recommend Grass Fed/finished, Organic Beef or Local cuts of meat if possible- bison, venison.
Burgers ingredients:
1 lb ground meat
1 tsp Trader Joe’s BBQ rub, or clean seasoning of your choice
1/4 tsp sea salt
Burger instructions:
Combine loosely with hands, divide and pattie to the size of your liking- typical yield is 4-5 burgers.
Grill burgers to desired doneness, approximately 4+ minutes on each side on a gas grill set on med/high.
Serve bun-less, inside large romaine or bib lettuce leaves.
Add hummus or Trader Joes Black Bean dip as condiment; add sliced tomato and avocado.
Sweet Potato “Fries” ingredients:
4-5 medium sized Sweet Potatoes
1-2 tsp Trader Joe’s 21 seasoning salute
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 TBSP Coconut Oil
Sweet Potato “Fries” instructions:
Peel and slice potatoes in fry-like fashion.
Melt coconut oil in a baking dish in the oven, set at 375 degrees.
When melted, remove pan, add potatoes and spices and toss lightly.
Bake for approximately 15-20 minutes and turn the fries over.
Bake another 10-12 minutes for desired readiness. The longer you bake, the crispier they will be.
